Write For Us! How to Contribute to Take Fitness

We’re looking for experts on health and fitness to write for us. If you have any interesting health news, workouts, healthy recipes or any interesting research we’d love to hear from you. We’re looking for knowledgeable, passionate writers who are keen to boost their profile in the health and fitness world. We receive tens of thousands of visitors a month and have a large social media following, so if you’re looking to make a name for yourself in the fitness industry we can help.

What We’re Looking For

Fitness Professionals – If you’re a qualified fitness or health professional we’d love to know your workout and diet ideas, your take on the latest health research and anything else you might think our readers would enjoy.

Bloggers and Influencers: We’re looking for well-researched content on health and fitness, your own personal fitness stories and journey and anything else you might think would be of interest to our audience. Hopefully we can help each other gain more exposure and grow your audience.

Ideally we’re looking for regular contributors to the site, but if you’re looking to submit a guest post as a one-off we’ll be glad to hear your idea.

Submission Guidelines

Articles must be unique and only published on takefitness.net. Any submitted content will be checked in Copyscape to verify that it has not been published elsewhere.

Content must be informative, accurate and useful. Please pitch us your idea before writing your article to make sure it’s a good fit.

Use things like numbered lists and bullet points where applicable.

If you have a royalty-free image which you feel would be a good fit please feel free to include it.

Articles should be a minimum of 600 words. There’s no upper limit on content length, and as a general rule we find that longer articles perform better.

The article should be formatted into sections with appropriate subheadings used.

Articles should not be advertorial or promote a product/service unless agreed with us prior to the content being published.

We can include a link to your website and social media profiles in your author bio at the end of the article.

Articles should be proofed and be free from any grammar or spelling issues. The content should be of a high standard or it will be returned for review.
